"Together, they faced the double row of applauding courtiers, the splendour of silk banners, the great stairway leading upwards to the throne.
Sitting on it, resplendent in a silver gown with vast ruff, sat the Queen. Even from this distant the redness of her hair and lips were evident, the radience of the diamonds at her neck. Behind her shoulder, a scowling presence, stood Casper.
The Warden said calmly, 'The smile, i think.'
Claudia put it on. The bright, confident smile, as fake as everything in her life, a cloak over the coldness.

I like the suggestion of a scene in this one but Claudia's shoulder is and eyes are bothering me, I don't understand why it's red and what the black spot on her shoulder is.
I like the Queen [though she is a little too Roman looking] and I like the interior and exterior

very cool! I like the storyline with this, its not just an idyllic scene, its a look into a character and a scene from an interesting story. I really like the framing of this, so it looks like the viewer is peering through the window at this scene. The queen looks very cool too, with the light from the sky beaming from beyond her so she looks very regal and elite. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this great storyline!
